How Silva Cream works
Silva 1% Cream contains three active ingredients. Silver sulfadiazine disintegrates into the burn wound, thereby causing a slow and sustained release of silver ions. They inhibit the growth and multiplication of bacterial cells without affecting the cells of the skin. It prevents the growth of a wide array of bacteria, as well as yeast, on the damaged skin.
